TANIQ has started an R&D project for a new manufacturing concept for turbo charger hoses, together with her partners Momentive Performance Materials, Teijin Aramid and Delft University of Technology. In the next three years research will be done into optimizing the performance of the hose and developing an efficient automated production solution. TANIQ's focus will be on optimizing the reinforcement structure and on developing methods to accurately apply these cords in a high volume production process. The project has been granted with the EUREKA label by the European Union and is part of the program for High Tech Automotive Systems in The Netherlands. The project also received funding from the Dutch government. Read more about the project in the press release.
